St. Thomas' Church Cemetery
Included in the St. Thomas' Parish Historical District is their serene and peaceful cemetery which embodies the beauty of Southern Maryland.
St. Simon's Cemetery
Once part of the Historical St. Simon's Mission, this cemetery provides evidence of the early African-American community of Croom, Maryland.

Claggett Family Cemetery
The burial ground for the family of Bishop Thomas John Claggett, first Episcopal Bishop of Maryland and the first Episcopal Bishop to be consecrated on American soil.
Atonement Cemetery
The Atonement Cemetery is located in Cheltenham at the site of the former Church of the Atonement (1875). The cemetery is owned and maintained by the parish.

Cemetery Regulations

  1. No burial is to take place without prior notification to the Cemetery Committee at least two days prior to the desired interment date. 
  2. No artificial flowers, ornaments, or memorabilia are permitted. No glass or breakable containers are permitted. Christmas decorations will be removed after Epiphany (January 6) and Easter decorations will be removed two weeks after Easter. 
  3. Flags no larger than 12” x 18”, must be removed in two weeks. 
  4. Prior approval from the Cemetery Committee or Chair is required before placing headstones. An application must be in writing with a rendering of the headstone. 
  5. Applications for plantings must be made in writing to the Cemetery Committee. Plantings become the property of the Cemetery Committee.
